• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Patient ratio of 1 : 2 or 1 : 3 depending on acuity level
• 15-bed NICU unit
• Required certifications : Arizona license, NRP, Level 3 NICU experience, Infant Driven Feeding Certificate
• Preferred certification : STABLE
• Minimum 3 years NICU experience required
• Attend high-risk and newborn deliveries
• Handle NICU admissions and provide specialized neonatal care
• Start IVs and draw laboratory specimens
• Ventilator experience required
• May float to postpartum unit during low census to care for newborns or couplets if experienced
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Electronic medical record system : Cerner
• Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care
