We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Manager to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis in Houma, Louisiana. Responsibilities :
- Oversee and perform daily accounting operations, including data entry and account management.
- Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice approvals and payments.
- Assist with month-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Support the preparation and analysis of general ledger accounts.
- Facilitate financial statement audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Familiar with accounting for labor and part sales.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.
- Proven experience in accounting operations, including month-end close and general ledger management.
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and journal entry processes.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures.
- Proficiency in managing accounts payable workflows.
- Experience supporting financial statement audits.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
