Telecom Field Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW :

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Field Technician to support a 6–8 month project in Knoxville and Oak Ridge, TN. The technician will be responsible for performing sweep testing on over 720 cables, identifying and replacing cable connectors as necessary to ensure passing results. This role requires hands-on experience with Anritsu sweep gear, JMA connectors, and JMA tools, as well as a strong commitment to safety standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-certified, and able to work independently in the field. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cable infrastructure to meet project and client requirements.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Strong hands-on experience with Anritsu sweep test equipment
• Proficiency with JMA connectors and JMA tools
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve cable-related issues efficiently
