Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Albuquerque, NM Weekly Pay Package : $2,581.81 Assignment Length : 13 Weeks Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (Varied Shifts) Float : Required between departments and / or locations within 20 miles Job Summary The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients across hospital and outpatient settings. This includes administering respiratory treatments, providing ventilator management, and performing diagnostic testing. This is a travel contract position requiring flexibility to float between hospital departments and PresNow (UC / ED) locations within a 20-mile radius. Travelers are the first to float and may have varying schedules from travel partners. Shift & Schedule Details Varied shifts; primary schedule 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM Weekends and holidays required On-call rotation may apply Travelers must be flexible to meet department staffing needs Required Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years of current Respiratory Therapy experience At least one completed 13-week travel assignment Must be adaptable, reliable, and team-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment Preferred : Experience with Epic EMR (training available on-site) Education Requirements Required : High School Diploma or GED Completion of an accredited Respiratory Care program (CoARC approved) Certifications & Licensure Active New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (AHA, American Health & Safety, or American Red Cross accepted) Additional Details Floating within 20 miles required Travelers are first to float Weekend and holiday shifts required Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same shifts or schedules Join a dedicated, patient-centered respiratory care team in Albuquerque, NM!
