Job Title : CNC Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to join our team, responsible for overseeing CNC Lathes and Mills in a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of a line of CNC machines, perform quality checks, and carry out routine maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor a line of 3-5 CNC machines.
• Make necessary offsets and adjustments as required.
• Perform quality checks on parts using a plug gauge, micrometer, and calipers.
• Conduct daily preventative maintenance, including basic cleaning, changing coolant / oil, and greasing.
• Handle minor tool changes such as changing an insert or bar in a lathe.

Work Environment

Work in a temperature-controlled environment, though it may get warm near the machines. Fans are provided to maintain comfort. Steel-toed boots are required, and all other personal protective equipment such as ear plugs and safety glasses will be provided. Shifts include Friday to Sunday from 7am to 7pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $25.00 / hr.
