Parking Compliance Officer (Multi-Hire)

Norfolk State University's Parking Services seeks a Security Officer III to assist with campus parking enforcement. The successful candidate will :

• Identify vehicles in violation of university parking codes.
• Issue parking citations, install wheel-locks, and provide motorist assistance.
• Assist with special events to include planning and coordinating placement of cones and reserve spaces for large and small events, daily and on weekends.
• Ensure all lots are monitored daily for potholes or for posted signs in need of repair.
• Assist customers with basic account information such as account balance and permit activity. Ability to work the front office to include writing passes, answering the phone and some office work.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Display a positive attitude and communicate well with students, staff, and the general public.
