Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of\nthe healthcare organization.\nImplement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.\nServe as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.\nNote and carry out physician and nursing orders.\nAssess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration : \nBLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.\nRegistered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job\ntransfer date required.\nEducation : \nDiploma from an accredited school / college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Additional Preferences

Strongly prefer candidates who have experience in a relief Charge Nurse capacity and wish to continue.\nPrefer candidates with a minimum of 1 year RN work-related experience in area of specialty.
