Qualifications
- Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
- Must have a B.S. in Engineering; experienced and upcoming December 2025 graduates encouraged to apply
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Good working knowledge of utility operation maintenance activities
- First aid / CPR certification preferred
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
Duties
Evaluate emerging technologies and establish tools for central maintenance programsCollect data, analyze and provide recommendations based on department needsCreate, issue and evaluate Request for Proposals for contract resources to perform maintenance activitiesInitiate and review contracts and ensure NorthWestern Energy project interests and specifications are appropriately represented prior to contract executionPlan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures based on company requirementsDevelop schedule, cost, and scope controls to monitor contractor performance against annual goalsLead special projects and utilize change and project management techniques as requiredAssist in developing and managing capital expense budgetsTravel to job sites, off-site meetings, and up to 25% travel per year including overnight stays when necessaryAll NorthWestern Energy employees are required to adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & EthicsEnsure self and others' actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectivesFull-time position.
$72,000 to $112,700 per year, depending on experience.
