Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience with 1 months within the past 6 months.
• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, monitoring femoral arterial sheaths.

ICU experience preferred.

Impella and / or IABP experience preferred.

NURSYS.

Types of Patients on Unit :

Patient Types :

CHF, Respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, DM, blood product administration, bipap, CVA overflow, post-cath patients - will see TR bands and the femoral approach; can see femoral sheaths but travelers will not pull them

Some surgical patients – vascular, abdominal, GI, etc.

Drips : diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitro, heparin –

Unit / Facility Details : Unit Beds : 20.

Will you accept a traveler with 2 years’ experience? Yes.

Will you accept a first-time traveler? No, need to have completed at least 1 travel assignment.

Patient Ratios :

ICU : Typically 2 : 1, sometimes 1 : 1 depending on patient acuity.

Orientation :

General Hospital NEO.

Special Requests : Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered.
