Location : Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (10115)

Shift : 70 hour biweekly, 10-hour shifts with alternating weeks of 30 and 40 hours, rotating weekends, no holidays, 4PM-2 : 30AM

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for supervising patient care, clinical personnel, and unit operations. This role includes overseeing daily operations, managing resources, quality improvement, payroll, scheduling, and patient throughput. The position also involves working as a staff RN as needed and supporting professional development and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; MSN preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
• RN licensure in Connecticut
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Specialty certification required within 3 years of start date or by March 1, 2024
