Allegro Fort Lauderdale is looking for a dependable and friendly Driver to join our vibrant senior living community!

What You'll Do :

  • Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and events
  • Help residents in and out of the vehicle with kindness and care
  • Keep our vehicle clean, comfortable, and running smoothly
  • Be a friendly face and a trusted part of our community!

What You Bring :

  • At least 1 year of driving experience (chauffeur, shuttle, etc.)
  • Experience in hotels or senior living preferred
  • A valid driver's license (No CDL required!)
  • A safety-first attitude and a heart for helping people

    The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation services for the residents of the Community.

    Areas of Responsibility :

  • Drive residents to outings, health care appointments, banking and other activities as determined by the Lifestyle Director / Concierge and the Executive Director.
  • Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle. Assist in loading packages, boxes, sacks, etc.
  • Coordinate Community transportation services ensuring the maintenance of the vehicles and adherence to the transportation budget and expenditures as directed.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must possess good judgment, time management, decision making, and safety awareness skills.
  • Must have a positive criminal background screening.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license (Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if required) for the state where the vehicle is operated.
  • Must have an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) record; the record must be checked annually.
