Under the direction of the Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Department Manager , they are responsible for the operation of highly technical state-of-the-art radiographic equipment. They are responsible and accountable for the patient outcomes in the cardiac cath / special procedures. Responsible for radiation safety practices in procedure rooms.

Work Hours

  • Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly
  • Day Shift (7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM)
  • NO weekends, holidays, or on-call commitment

Sign-On Bonus (Qualified external candidates only)

  • 2+ years of Electrophysiology / Cath Lab experience : $35,000 with a two-year work commitment.
  • Less than 2 years of Electrophysiology / Cath Lab experience : $17,500 with a one-year work commitment.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Allied Health
  • Successfully passed the Hemodynamic test
  • EKG competency preferred
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or CVT / CVIT or Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)
  • BLS / CPR
  • Unrestricted license from ODH if ARRT
  • Understanding of aseptic technique
  • 3-4 years’ experience in a related field

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Proficiently perform diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEU's.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of the patients and families.
  • Demonstrate proficiency, competency, and knowledge in diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEU's.
  • Maintain accurate records through the completion of all paperwork.
  • Demonstrate organizational responsibility.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of patients and families.
