Locums NP / PA Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Call Only Camp Hill, PA Why This Role Support the Orthopedic Trauma team at a busy Level II trauma center Provide consult coverage and first-assist duties for adult orthopedic trauma patients Collaborate closely with attending surgeons and existing APPs in a high-acuity hospital environment Assignment Details Start Date : ASAP End Date : 12 / 31 / 2026 Coverage Type : Call Only Setting : Inpatient Schedule : - Weekdays : Day shifts (8â€"12 hours) as 2nd APP, Mondayâ€"Friday - Weekends : Friday 6p â€" Monday 6a (sole APP, off-site call with callbacks) Call Type : In-house (day) / Off-site with callback (night) Call Response Time : 30 minutes Volume : 5â€"25 calls per shift; 2â€"5 admissions per shift Trauma Level : II EMR : Cerner Credentialing Timeframe : 60â€"120 days Requirements Licensed in PA (IMLC not accepted) ACLS certification Experience in inpatient orthopedic or trauma settings Ability to perform : - Rounding on inpatients - OR first assist - Fracture and joint reductions - Hardware removal (superficial) - Splinting and wound care Compensation Rates : Facility is accepting bids Malpractice : Provided Travel : Reimbursed
