ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Collaborative approach in working with PreSurgery team, Nurse Navigation and Anesthesia to build on efficiency and support patient needs.
Opportunities to cross train to other departments as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES :
No direct reports.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Must be proficient in the English language, both verbally and written, in order to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, vendors, and the general public.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Moderate physical effort working. Efforts consisting of standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and stooping. Frequently lifting and / or moving 25 to 50 lbs. Must be able to respond quickly and effectively to an emergency.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Climate controlled environment with occasional periods of being outside. Exposed to blood borne pathogens, anesthetic gases, odorous chemicals and specimens, toxic chemicals, electrical and mechanical hazards, bio-contaminated waste, radiation from x-rays and unpleasant elements.
