Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Murray, UT, 84107. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our facility operates smoothly and efficiently. If you have a knack for problem-solving and a passion for maintaining environments, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of events and meetings as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in facilities maintenance is a plus.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
