job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related issues, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location. Monitor for any unusual activity and promptly communicate relevant information to the appropriate personnel. Assist employees, visitors, and contractors at the location with general inquiries and directions, maintaining a professional presence. Document and report security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when needed, following established procedures. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least one year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred, subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Tech Campus Unarmed Patrol
As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Unarmed Patrol in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with people in a professional manner, and assist with access control needs. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
