Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Galveston, Texas.

Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 40

Primary Location : Galveston, TX

Shift Requirements : M-F 10-hour shifts, manager will discuss shifts in telephone interview

Float Requirements : may float between the three larger campuses (Galveston, League City, or Clear Lake depending on the needs). However, the manager will discuss with the contractor beforehand and make sure they are agreeable to floating or moving.

On Call / Call Back Requirements : is eight days in a five-week period which includes one full weekend (Friday-Sunday) but worst-case scenario is 10-14 days.

There is call for the Cath / EP lab. Call starts once the last case is completed. The employee must respond to the call within 30-35 minutes. They must live close by.

There is a requirement to wear lead as much as 20 pounds for 10-12 hours per day.

Scrub Requirement : Black

Required Certifications : AHA BLS

Minimum Experience : 3+ years RN

Charting : EPIC (highly preferred)

Required Skillset : Cath Lab / EP Recovery experience, Cardiac Cath, EP trained hemodynamics, EP Studies

Equipment used :

o Mechanical ventilator

o IABP

o Impella

o Implants

o EP Ablation
