Responsibilities and Duties
Provide advanced post-operative care for transplant, ECMO, LVAD, bypass, and other surgical patientsManage 4-6 patients per night in an ICU setting, typically about 4 patients per providerPerform invasive procedures including central line placement, arterial line placement, chest tube removal, and pacer wire removalDeliver comprehensive cardiac critical care in collaboration with at least one other advanced practice provider on each shiftEnsure effective shift transition with required sign-out proceduresAdditional Information
