job_description.job_card.job_descriptionIEP Development & Instruction - Create and implement IEPs, lesson plans, and instructional strategies that meet each student's individual needs and goals. Documentation & Reporting - Timely submission of IEPs, progress reports, and evaluation documentation. Collaboration & Communication - Partner with parents, multidisciplinary teams, and school staff to support student success. Classroom Management & Behavior Support - Maintain a structured learning environment using behavior management and intervention strategies. Assessment & Progress Monitoring - Track student progress through evaluations, assessments, and behavioral data collection. Safety & Compliance - Follow all safety policies, including PPE use and confidentiality, while supporting students' self-care needs. Active PA Teaching Certification is required, such as a Private Academic Certificate or Level I / II PA Instructional Special Education Certification (K-12). All New Story Teachers must have their PA teaching license in place by August 1, 2025. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
