Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B) Division has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join the USAF E-7 Program in Tukwila, WA. This position will report to the IPT leaders. This critical role on the team helps manage the business and performance of the team to drive successful outcomes. You will be responsible and accountable for the team's program execution in the Earned Value Management System (EVMS), managing the scope, schedule, budget and EAC that is defined within the Control Accounts (CA). Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities :
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) : 5+ years of experience in implementation of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP), Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Lean+ / 10X 3+ years of experience in partnering with executives to develop and manage the operating rhythm / cadence for executive leadership teams Experience with Financial Data (i.e. accounting, financial planning, cost management) Experience in a role that required detailed knowledge of systems engineering principles to solve engineering problems, create process-driven documentation, write and derive formal requirements, manage project requirements, and produce task schedules Strong communication skills, Strong problem solving skills and Strong drive for process improvement Experience using technological tools (e.g., PC's, web sites) and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data relevant to workloads, responsibilities, problem identifications and resolutions Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) : Bachelor's Degree or higher Experience in engineering and / or engineering project management Experience in procurement and supply chain processes Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
