Impact you’ll make
- Turn specs into output : read work orders; set up, operate, and reset production equipment to meet customer requirements and quality standards. Flag equipment issues to your lead and suggest process improvements.
- Work the details : handle product with safety knives, scissors, and tweezers through multiple process steps.
- Move materials with confidence : locate, stock, build, and manage WIP; load / unload materials between fixed equipment, carriers, and mobile racks; stage and deliver WIP; help prepare finished goods for shipment.
- Operate material-moving and fixed equipment safely, including electric and manual pallet jacks.
- Protect quality : spot and report defects or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Keep records straight : enter accurate job time and inventory data per customer and departmental guidelines.
- Champion safety : report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately; maintain a clean, orderly work area.
- Support the team by jumping in where needed to achieve results.
What helps you thrive
Experience in production operations, material handling, or technician roles within manufacturing / warehouse environments preferred (not required).High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Comfortable communicating in English; at least 18 years old.Dependable, punctual, and solutions-oriented.Able to detect process issues and respond to safety signals via sight, touch, or hearing.Flexible schedule across days / nights / weekends ; willing to work overtime and adapt on short notice.IPC 7711 / 7721 certification strongly encouraged.PPE you may use
Safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, and clean-room frocks as required by procedure.
Physical demands and setting
Physically demanding tasks for extended periods (up to 12 hours).Frequent hand / finger use; standing, walking, sitting, reaching, pushing / pulling; climbing / balancing; and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.Lift / move up to 35 lbs without help; carry 20 lbs up / down stairs.Visual abilities : close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.Manufacturing shop with high noise, moving equipment hazards, nuisance dust, and possible skin exposure to prep materials.Nice-to-have experience
