Data Center Technician

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Data Center   Technician.

Position type : Full-time, Contract

Duration : 6 Months

Location : Richardson, TX 75082

As a Data Center   Technician , you will :

• Patching cabling between network equipment and customer’s network.
• Installation of power cables from equipment to power supply in rack / cabinet / closet.
• Installation, troubleshooting and de-installing network equipment.
• Install / swap out cables, switches routers etc.
• Complete all hard and complex Move, Add Change (MAC) requests within the defined service levels.
• Provide infrastructure cabling break-fix services for network infrastructure.
• Perform layer 1 troubleshooting
• Support carrier testing of circuits.
• Power and uninterruptable power supply (UPS) restoral.
• Emergency cooling restoration.
• Fire suppression exercises, restoration, and post fire events.
