About The Position

Job Title : Emergency Department Nurse

Profession : RN

Duration : 16 weeks

Shift : 10 : 45 PM - 11 : 15 PM

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : 1 year in specialty, 2 years preferred

License : Registered Nurse in Alabama or Compact License (No Temporary Licenses accepted)

Certifications : AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, TNCC

Must-Have :

• Associate degree in nursing
• 1 year experience in emergency department

Description :

Responsible for providing comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups.

Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.

Holidays and every other weekend are required.

Our emergency department treats a large number of patients annually.

The nurse-to-patient ratio can vary based on patient acuity.

Team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

Candidates with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license will be considered.

This position is patient-facing and clinical in nature.

Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment is essential.
