Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician. You will be responsible for administering medications, performing clinical procedures, and supporting patients and their families throughout the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct patient care according to established protocols and scope of practice
- Monitor patient health, including vital signs and symptoms, and report changes to the supervising RN or physician
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist with wound care, catheterization, injections, and other nursing procedures
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and update patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and care strategies
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment
Qualifications :
Current and valid LPN license in the state of TennesseeGraduate of an accredited LPN nursing programCPR / BLS certification (required)Previous nursing experience (preferred but not required)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
