Qualifications :

Operator-In-Training - Water / Wastewater Treatment

Basic experience in operating water / wastewater treatment plants

Basic understanding of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to enter data into a maintenance management system

A valid drivers license with no major infractions

Responsibilities :

Based in Roseburg, OR, youll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant including maintenance of equipment (general maintenance checks on pumps, screens, valves, blowers, geardrives) and quality control testing. Youll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to challenges that may arise in a municipal wastewater treatment facility. Youll operate treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water / wastewater, sludge, and effluent, observe variations in operating conditions, and interpret meter and gauge readings. Youll also collect samples, maintain shift logs and perform other duties as required. Most importantly, youlltake actionto ensure the safety, health and well-being of you and your team.
