Be the difference.\n\nJob Summary\n\nJoin our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in Acute Care Nephrology, where you will provide exceptional clinical direction for patients in an acute inpatient setting. Your role is essential in delivering patient-centered care while utilizing evidence-based practices throughout the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. You will adhere to safety protocols, prioritize quality improvement, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.\n\nThis position might require weekend, holiday, and on-call shifts.\n\nEssential Functions\n

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and identify priorities for the patient care plan.\n
• Develop and update personalized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.\n
• Ensure effective communication and continuity of care throughout the patient's treatment.\n
• Deliver direct patient care according to established nursing plans and organizational policies.\n
• Delegate tasks appropriately while monitoring the quality of care provided to patients.\n
• Maintain safety standards and promote a safe environment for patients and staff.\n
• Engage in ongoing evaluation of patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed.\n
• Identify patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education.\n
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with performance standards.\n
• Serve as a patient advocate while coordinating care among the healthcare team.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n
• Education : Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).\n
• Experience : At least one (1) year of experience as a registered nurse.\n\nIn Lieu Of\n
• Successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or a comparable program may substitute for experience.\n
• Internal candidates with one (1) year of licensed practical nurse (LPN) experience may also apply.\n\nRequired Certifications, Registrations, Licenses\n
