Job Summary :

This role will be directly responsible for the maintenance and interactions with vendors to ensure the labs and office spaces are safe and up to code in our Clarksville, IN location. This position requires you to work onsite Mon. - Fri., from 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM EST, with rotation of onsite presence in our Louisville, KY location. The Facilities Support Specialist will report directly to the Director of Real Estate and Facilities.

Essential Responsibilities / Duties :

• Assist to coordinate and maintain scheduled interval maintenance of lab related instrumentation
• Maintain accurate tracking / documentation of instrument repairs and maintenance
• Assist in maintaining the service Plan Pricing spreadsheet
• Execute basic and complex troubleshooting in a dynamic and fast paced work environment
• Collaborate with the Laboratory Mechanical Maintenance team to maintain communication with vendors and clients
• Provide weekly reports to the Director of Facilities
• Assist with compiling weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics for the Facilities Department
• Daily monitoring of Nitrogen production room and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all employees
• Manage hazardous waste removal service, linen service, and solid waste / recycling
