Position Summary

As a Traffic Operations & Safety Engineer, you will lead and support complex projects across Arizona, analyzing traffic data, developing projections, creating improvement strategies, and implementing advanced traffic management techniques. You will also document findings and pursue new project opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze field data using tools such as Synchro, HCS, SIDRA, FREEVAL, and VISSIM.
• Develop traffic projections following agency methodologies.
• Create and evaluate improvement alternatives and perform simulation analyses.
• Implement traffic management strategies including ATDM and ICM.
• Document methods and findings in accessible reports.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range : $105,000 - $155,000 plus benefits, including health insurance, PTO, retirement, profit sharing, bonuses, and support for professional development.
