Endries International, Inc., a leading distributor of fasteners and other class "c" commodities and provider of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) worldwide, currently has an opening for a Product Application Engineer in Waller, TX.
This is a full time position that includes a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, company matched 401K, and more).
Position Description
Lead, direct, and perform engineering services activity within directed region or customer base.
Essential Functions
- Manage engineering related cost savings activity according to customer agreements so as to meet or exceed agreement goals.
- Assist in procuring profitable revenues through new product and process introductions so as to meet corporate financial goals of inventory turns and operating income.
- Assist in training internal customers on new products and processes so as to meet or exceed corporate revenue goals and business plan.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Provide technical support for both internal and external customers.
- Manage business that has a customer service satisfaction level of 3 or better. Annual customer survey will be on a 1-4 point base with 4 being high.
- Manage business to comply with local, state, and federal regulations while meeting or exceeding Endries International ethical standards.
Education / Training Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a manufacturing related field or equivalent experience.Experience / Skills Required
