Security Professional - Armed Patrol Refinery

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Refinery in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure environment. Pay Rate : $22.06 / Hour

Week 1 :

DayTime Thur 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Week 2 :

DayTime Fri 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences.
  • Assist with emergency response protocols, including evacuation and / or lockdown procedures as required by site policies.
  • Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
