All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years Cannot have any hits / suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate / compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only). Procedures / Diagnostics / Treatments Performed on Unit : High Risk Antepartum- 6 weeks to 41 weeks PTL, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, prom, twins, substance use disorder in pregnancy. Care of fetal demise or loss of patients both antepartum and postpartum, postpartum mother with baby in NICU, no newborns on this unit. Types of Patients on Unit : Adolescents, Adults

• Equipment Used on Unit : PCA Pumps PICC / Central Lines, Syringe Pumps Required Skills / Experience : Antepartum Care and Procedures : - Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation) IV Therapy / Phlebotomy : - Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC) Medication & Administration : - Anticoagulants, Insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate therapy Labor and Delivery Management : Circulate for C-section Transportation : Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles. Housing : IF applicable - Clinician should secure housing before accepting and be aware of local cost of living. Previous Employment Requirements : Perm candidates of any Other providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.
