Alaska Eligibility Specialist

A company is looking for an Eligibility Specialist to support the Alaska Non-Congregate Sheltering program.

Key Responsibilities

Review FEMA NCS applications and determine eligibility for applicants affected by Typhoon Nalong

Evaluate previously denied applications for potential appeals and maintain a caseload of clients

Provide resources and referrals to clients while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School diploma or GED

One year of experience preferred, especially with FEMA funded programs

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Available to work 60 hours a week

Local to Alaska preferred
