Security Supervisor

Overview

Gibbon Packing, LLC , an American Foods Group Company has an opportunity for Security Supervisor at our Gibbon, NE plant.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Responsible for monitoring security staff working in the guardhouses.
• Utilizes Gate Houses to control access and prevent unauthorized access to buildings and property.
• Greet and monitor employees, visitors, contractors, vendors, and consultants granted access to buildings and property.
• Disarm all alarms and activate card access readers on buildings when necessary for that shift.
• Arm, lock and secure all buildings nightly and / or on company holidays when necessary for that shift.
• Assists with monitoring activity utilizing the video surveillance system.
• Maintain a current list of all visitors, including corporate partners, venders, contractors, and consultants on the premises at all times.
• Respond to any emergency situation as called.
• Staff gatehouses, greeting employees, customers, visitors, and vendors, providing assistance, information and visitor parking passes in a courteous, professional manner.
• When necessary, works with security guards to patrol the surrounding premises.
• Manage the gathering and delivery of laundry
• Ensure cattle in the pens are fed and handle humanely during off shifts
