Architect
JOB SUMMARY
- Manage, design, develop, and ACAD draw Architectural plans / projects in a professional, creative, efficient, accurate, and timely manner meeting local, state and national codes for Hospital, Business, and other building types. Works at the direction of the Director and with internal staff, Facility Management, architects, engineers, contractors, state reviewers, and vendors in development, construction, modification, and furnishings for construction projects, managing space allocation, and all facility related issues as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at an accredited school.Minimum Work Experience
2 years of Architectural Work ExperienceLicensed Architect with Hospital experience preferredRequired Licenses / Certifications
Prove future ability to be a Licensed Architect in the State of TexasLicensed Architect preferredRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Professional architectural skills to plan and create drawings suitable for construction that meet local, state and national codesBasic knowledge of REVIT file exchange to access read and store files.Working knowledge in AUTOCAD to plan and create drawings suitable for construction that meet local, state and national codesDevelop / create / coordinate / manage projects as directedManage Draftsman Position to help in the production of CAD drawings.Work with Engineering Consultants to effectively coordinate construction drawingsHelp in the development of HMC’s long term strategic plans across all campusesManage effectively numerous projects at one timeGood people skills to effectively work with many partiesAbility to handle confidential information in a professional mannerPI0be617f8f997-30511-33714453
