Hybrid Development Team Lead | Providence, UT

Nexeo is seeking a skilled and motivated Hybrid Development Team Lead to join our client's growing team. This role will lead a team of developers in designing, building, and delivering innovative software solutions. The right candidate will have strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to balance hands-on development with team management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, performance, and scalability in all deliverables.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support a team of software developers in daily tasks and long-term projects.
Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other departments to align project goals with business needs.
Oversee the software development life cycle, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Provide technical guidance and remain hands-on with coding and architecture when needed.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality and security standards.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team performance.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks or technical issues within projects.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of professional software development experience.

2+ years of leadership or team lead experience.

Strong knowledge of modern programming languages (C#, Java, Python, or similar).

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to balance leadership duties with hands-on technical contributions.

Schedule

Location : Logan, UT (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite, remainder remote)
