Responsibilities Work in a Neuro Med / Surg Telemetry Certified Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit Serves as a stroke center and telemetry overflow unit for various patient populations Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19 : 00-07 : 30) with every other weekend and holiday required Must be willing to float to other units as needed to support hospital operations Basic EKG testing required and provided via online Prophecy Relias exam prior to orientation Modules are completed virtually on the first day and annually, with duration dependent on specialty Main responsibilities include caring for neuro-related and telemetry patients, including stroke and epilepsy monitoring Must complete mandatory online modules on the first contract day and annually as required No RTO (requested time off) will be accepted after an offer has been made Local candidates are accepted at the same rate Return staff must have a separation period of at least six months before being eligible to return as a traveler Travelers are not allowed to work more than 365 days at this facility regardless of breaks Dress code and scrub requirements may be provided during onboarding Requirements Active MD or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum two years of neurology and med / surg telemetry experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required Two references required for consideration Completion of agency-provided Basic EKG testing prior to attending orientation Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621809.
