Construction Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager

Mid-City Electric / Technologies is seeking a Construction Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be at the heart of fast-paced, high-impact projects, helping to deliver exceptional results for clients while growing their skills alongside some of the best in the industry. Key responsibilities include :

• Coordination of planning, ordering, installation, and follow-up
• Maintaining strong, positive relationships
• Maintaining and updating records
• Maintaining high levels of communication with all parties involved in projects
• Reviewing and processing all contracts and change orders
• Requisitioning needed supplies and materials
• Dispatching technicians to complete work
• Processing permits and inspections
• Implementing project work plans and revising details as necessary
• Overseeing quality assurance procedures

To be successful in this role, candidates should have knowledge of project management and the ability to apply project management concepts to electrical construction projects, proficiency with project management and estimating software and MS Office Suite, and a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a similar field.

Preferred qualifications include commercial electrical project engineering experience and demonstrated success in handling the administrative side of project management.
