Known’s Media Science team uses advanced analytics, machine learning, statistics, and algorithms to plan and optimize advertising dollars. We partner with clients to translate business goals into meaningful metrics and buy media across channels to drive target outcomes. Our offices are distributed with a hybrid model and remote work options.
The Role Manager, Media Strategy to join the team and work alongside data analysts, buyer scientists and channel activation teams.
What You’ll Do
Media Strategy : Support the development of cross-channel strategy & planning for media accounts both externally and internally; develop understanding of clients’ business goals, marketing objectives and competitive constraints; participate in writing client briefs and translating them into insights-led media strategy; collaborate with data science and channel leads to drive campaign performance; remain embedded in all aspects of the campaign from planning to execution and measurement; create media landscape updates and insights that inform media plan implications.
Client Relations : Support assigned aspects of client relationships.
Account Management : Foster collaboration between teams; work with partner agencies to integrate messaging & creative campaigns; support cross-channel budget management with clients and internal stakeholders; assist in developing and managing timelines; steward planning budgets across multiple campaigns.
Campaign Execution : Coordinate with buyer scientists and channel teams to map strategy to activation; track measurement plan
Who You Are And What You Have 4+ years of media planning experience; agency experience preferred
Broad knowledge of the media landscape, consumer behavior and media consumption; ability to pull competitive reporting and insights
Cross-channel understanding of the media plan ecosystem from strategy to reporting
Curious mindset with strong critical thinking; ability to solve diverse business challenges
Experience working with clients, vendors or suppliers with the ability to develop trusted relationships
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
Hands-on multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Data-driven approach with ability to leverage insights for strategy and measurement
Strong proficiency in Google Suite; familiarity with Mediaocean, Lumina, Prisma
Basic understanding of media activation platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, The Trade Desk

Compensation and EEO The base salary for this position is $90K - $100K. This range is posted in compliance with pay transparency laws.
