AlliedTravelCareers is working with Unizon Health Choice LLC to find a qualified Surg Tech in Wausau, Wisconsin, 54401!

Pay Information

$3,480 to $3,520 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Certified Surgical First Assist – CVOR

Location :   Wausau, WI 54401

Assignment Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Variable Days | 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM | 30-minute lunch break

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

Responsibilities :

  • Provide first assist in CVOR for open and off-pump cardiac surgeries
  • Assist with valve replacements and robotic-assisted surgeries using DaVinci
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and PAs to ensure optimal surgical outcomes
  • Adhere to hospital protocols, maintain sterile fields, and ensure patient safety
  • Participate in holiday and weekend call rotation
  • Document accurately using EPIC EMR system

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years of CVOR First Assist experience
  • Previous travel experience (at least one prior travel assignment required)
  • Trauma II experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • BLS (AHA required)
  • Certified Surgical First Assistant (NBSTSA or NSAA)
  • Charting System : Epic
