Position : Oracle Database Services (Senior Technical Specialist)

Location : Sacramento, CA

Duration : 12 Months

Minimum Skills :

• Ten (10) years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) on Oracle database version 11g or above to include hands-on with PeopleSoft (Financials and HCM).
• Five (5) years of expert experience as a DBA supporting databases on Red Hat Linux 6.x or higher.
• Five (5) years of expert experience writing Unix Shell scripts.
• Five (5) years of experience supporting Oracle databases on ASM (Automatic Storage Management).
• Five (5) years of experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) database version 11.2.0.4 or higher.
• Five (5) years of expert experience as a DBA supporting databases with a size of at least 10 TB
• Five (5) years of experience writing documentation (standards, best practices, procedures).
• Five (5) years of experience with Oracle 11.2.0.4 or higher :
• Using Tuning Pack, Diagnostics Pack and Change Management Pack and / or Automatic workload Repository (AWR).
• Writing and tuning PL / SQL objects.
• Supporting Oracle databases that utilize the RMAN backups to disk or other mediums.
• Supporting Oracle databases using replication / materialized views.
• Supporting Oracle databases using triggers.
• Implementing Oracle database auditing facilities.
• Three (3) years of expert experience modifying proprietary Oracle ZFS API for cloning Oracle Databases and authoring original code for this purpose
• Three (3) years of experience writing scripts interfacing Oracle ZFS storage appliance with ZFS cloned Oracle databases to automate usage by Oracle DBA's.
