About The Position

About the Position Position / Specialty : Pediatric Echo Tech Daily Caseload per tech : 4-10 Shift : Will work M-F (8 hours shifts) on staggering shifts with start times as early as 630a and as late as 800a. No holidays needed. Weekend REQ : No Is on-call REQ? No Floating Req : Yes, will work at both SJCH and SMP (North Charleston clinic) Required / Preferred Years of experience REQ : 2 years First-timers accepted : Yes Pending State License accepted. Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with the PE certification or CCI with the RCCS certification and all must be in hand at time of start Must be proficient in complex congenital heart defects. Experience with GE (vivid 95) and PACS system entering full reports, preferred. Need to be proficient in scanning pediatric echocardiograms, extensive knowledge of complex heart disease and defects, Highly recommend MD reference BLS required Radiation Badge : NOT REQUIRED Miscellaneous Local Radius : 60 Locals Accepted : Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than posted bill rate RTO Restrictions for Client Offers : All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours : Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Hurricane Season

  • Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September
