Bright Ice is hiring for our team at our new shop in Downtown Wellen Park!
The anticipated start date for this position is April 20, 2023.
The Store Team Leader / Supervisor is generally responsible for providing strong, positive leadership to their team, to deliver great and friendly guest experiences, and for helping to build profitable sales. They will assist in the operations of the store and managing a team of hourly associates during their respective shifts. In accordance with the goals of the company, they are responsible for managing all aspects of their shift including, but not limited to : store operations, financial performance, management / staff development, customer satisfaction, quality standards, sales & marketing, and general communications with employees, vendors, customers, and corporate support staff.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise a shift of Bright Ice Team Members
- Lead and manage a team; hold the team accountable to deliver a great customer experience
- Leadership, including taking initiative, and effective communication
- Ensure all shifts are appropriately staffed to achieve company goals
- Enforce call-out procedures, document call-outs, and ensure that all shifts are covered each day and week
- Develop the weekly employee schedule
- Ensure that all employees follow company operations and protocols
- Coordinate the hiring and training of employees
- Communicate job expectations to employees
- Provide coaching, development and feedback
- Initiate disciplinary action and / or termination for Team Members
- Ensure that quality and consistency standards for the products are maintained
- Performs tasks including : inventory, ordering, prepare bank deposits, proper accounting of funds, employee schedules.
- Oversee and monitor loss prevention
- Control costs to help maximize profitability
- Assist with planning and implementation of store marketing activities
- Investigates, resolves and responds to guest complaints
- Execute new product roll-outs including team training, marketing and sampling
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines; comply with all applicable laws
- Ensure every customer has a positive experience
- Perform all duties of a Team Member
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Have two years of supervisory experience in a quick service food environmentProven ability to manage, develop and motivate a teamExcellent interpersonal, communication and follow-through skillsHave customer service experienceBe available to work at least 5 shifts each week, including partial weekendsAbility to work the store opening and closing shiftsAcquire Food Manager’s Certification within 60 days of hire dateStrict adherence to all hygiene and cleanliness standardsMust have a vehicle and active driver’s licenseDesirable Qualifications :
A dedicated person who is looking for a fun place to work!Excellent organizational and motivational skills are neededActive Food Handler’s Card or Food Manager CertificationDemonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of the organizationHave the ability to handle multiple tasks and targets at any one given time, with emphasis placed on prioritizing.Experience in food preparation and / or barista trainingAvailable shifts and compensation : We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.00 - $22.00 / hour.
