Administrative Assistant
AECOM is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to support the Water Business Line team in our Denver office. This position provides an opportunity to grow administrative skills in a professional setting while assisting project teams and staff with day-to-day office support needs.
Job Summary / Responsibilities
- Work under direct supervision of department and division managers.
- Assist project managers and staff with routine administrative tasks on projects and office activities.
- Help track compliance with AECOM policies and procedures.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, forms, and simple spreadsheets.
- Schedule and provide support for team meetings, including agendas and notes.
- Provide basic support with Microsoft 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote).
- Assist with arranging travel and preparing expense reports for team members.
- Provide general office support as needed, including document organization and file management.
Minimum Requirements :
High School Diploma and 2+ years of relevant office or administrative experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.Ability to work in office 5 days per week during core business hours.Preferred Qualifications :
Associate's Degree or some college coursework.Familiarity with standard office practices and procedures.Basic proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote).Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.Ability to learn quickly, ask questions, and work both independently and with a team.
