Administrative Assistant

AECOM is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to support the Water Business Line team in our Denver office. This position provides an opportunity to grow administrative skills in a professional setting while assisting project teams and staff with day-to-day office support needs.

Job Summary / Responsibilities

  • Work under direct supervision of department and division managers.
  • Assist project managers and staff with routine administrative tasks on projects and office activities.
  • Help track compliance with AECOM policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, forms, and simple spreadsheets.
  • Schedule and provide support for team meetings, including agendas and notes.
  • Provide basic support with Microsoft 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote).
  • Assist with arranging travel and preparing expense reports for team members.
  • Provide general office support as needed, including document organization and file management.

Minimum Requirements :

  • High School Diploma and 2+ years of relevant office or administrative experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.
  • Ability to work in office 5 days per week during core business hours.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Associate's Degree or some college coursework.
  • Familiarity with standard office practices and procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote).
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, ask questions, and work both independently and with a team.
