This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.

We are currently hiring a Manager, Production Planning Management for our sunny Irvine, California site. A Day in the Life :

As Manager, Production Planning Management, you will be responsible for leading a team to ensure productivity and alignment with departmental goals. You will plan, direct, and monitor production activities, liaise with various departments, manage production line maintenance, and ensure a safe work environment. Leadership, time management, communication, and team coordination skills are essential to drive operational efficiency and team performance.

You will have several essential responsibilities including :

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring productivity and alignment with departmental objectives.
• Plan, direct, and monitor production activities to meet specifications, schedules, volume / cost / wastage targets, and quality standards.
• Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate labor / capital resources.
• Foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management, driving talent development, ensuring positive associate relations, enhancing associate engagement, recognizing achievements, and driving a strong safety culture.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimize disruptions.
• Lead or participate in quality investigations and deliver continuous improvement.
• Ensure a safe work environment and develop pipeline talent.
• Make operational decisions impacting team performance and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining accurate and complete documentation, and completing required training.

Pay Range $103,680.00 - $155,520.00
