Contract Manager

Responsible for managing and administering operating contracts that support the day-to-day functioning and maintenance of the organization's healthcare and administrative facilities. This includes contracts for housekeeping services, security, building maintenance, landscaping, waste management, and other operational services critical to facility performance. The Contract Manager will ensure that vendor agreements align with the organization's operational goals, regulatory requirements, and budget constraints. This position requires a proactive professional with experience managing service contracts within a public healthcare or government setting, with a strong focus on vendor performance, cost control, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Contract Lifecycle Management; Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts for facility operations, including housekeeping, security, maintenance, and waste management.
  • Vendor Performance and Relationship Management; Monitor vendor performance, enforce contract terms, and address issues to ensure compliance with service agreements.
  • Budget and Cost Management; Oversee financial aspects of contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Regulatory Compliance; Ensure all contracts align with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies.
  • Data & Performance Analysis; Track and analyze vendor service metrics, ensuring contracts align with organizational performance goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration; Work closely with internal departments to align contract services with operational needs.
  • Issue Resolution & Contract Disputes; Address contract disputes and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
  • Contract Documentation & Reporting; Maintain accurate contract records and generate reports for executive leadership.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION : Bachelor's Degree (higher degree accepted)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE :

  • 2 years Contract Lifecycle Management Required
