About us

Loebsack & Brownlee, PLLC, an established practitioner of Landlord-Tenant Law, is a single-purpose Law Firm that focuses exclusively on providing legal services to professionally managed properties in the Carolinas, Virginia and Georgia. We provide legal advice, counsel and courtroom representation on matters relating to the residential dispossessory process.

Our new Associate Attorney position will be located in Wilmington, NC area and will primarily provide legal counsel and courtroom representation to our clients in various counties in the surrounding area. The Associate Attorney position will be responsible for covering counties for representation along the coastal regions of NC and SC.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1-2 years in civil litigation experience, however, recent graduates licensed to practice in South Carolina and North Carolina will also be considered and are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court and handle litigation matters
  • Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure effective case management

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar association
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software
  • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar association are required. Must be dual licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina to be considered for the position.
