Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a current MT or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of specialty experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
  • Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM, five days per week
  • Care for cardiac patients undergoing catheterization procedures
  • Epic EMR system is used for charting
  • Floating to other departments may be required based on business needs
  • On-call responsibilities may apply during scheduled shifts
  • Perform independent and delegated nursing functions for cardiac catheterization patients
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Adhere to organizational and regulatory documentation standards
  • Compliance with drug screening and background check process is required prior to start
  • First time travelers may be considered

  • Active MT or compact RN license must be in hand prior to consideration
  • Associate degree in nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing school required
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must not expire prior to start
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cath Lab nursing required
  • EPIC charting experience preferred
