At Interstate Advanced Materials, we support the professional growth of our employees while providing exceptional service to our customers. We are a wholesale distributor and fabricator of high-performance plastic sheet, rod, tube, and film serving industries such as aerospace, defense, semiconductor, medical, food processing, automotive, agriculture, and more.

Position Overview :

In this hands-on role, precision is key—think “measure twice, cut once.” We're looking for someone who’s detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and brings a can-do attitude to work every day. Key Responsibilities :

Set up and operate machines with a focus on precision and quality

Adjust settings (speeds and feeds) based on materials, thickness, and job specs

Perform routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly

Update job setups and maintain quality control documentation

Suggest improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste

Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe

Read blueprints and job instructions to complete tasks accurately

Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure top-notch quality

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Pitch in with other duties as needed

Requirements :

CNC experience is a plus—but not a must

Ability to read and understand blueprints or work drawings

Familiarity with measuring tools like tape measures and calipers

Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

High attention to detail and a strong work ethic

Forklift experience or willingness to get certified
