Pay Range : $28-$35 / hour based on experience

Pay spiffs on service calls that lead to system replacementHoliday Pay BonusesOccasional Company OutingsAbility to commute to work / home with work vanHours : Our HVAC Service technicians arrive at our shop near Downtown Des Moines at 7 : 30AM, and typically finish work around 4-5PM. We do provide overtime services (nights, weekends, holidays) and all service technicians may be called upon to work overtime calls.
On-Call Service : We currently rotate our HVAC Service Technicians for weekly on-call. This means that during your week of on-call selection, the technician has our phone number forwarded to their cell phone from 5PM-8AM for emergency repairs.
Technicians are never expected to give estimates, schedule maintenance, or take sales calls outside of business hours.This is strictly for emergency services for overtime charges for the customer.Skills / Requirements :
Proven experience as an HVAC Service TechnicianStrong technical skills and knowledge of HVAC systemsUnderstanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heatingExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDuties :
Troubleshooting HVAC systems for electrical and mechanical defects.Perform seasonal preventative maintenance : Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are metMaintaining a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources.Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety ActAdhere to safety standards and company policiesMaintain accurate records of work performedParticipate in all technical trainingComplying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirementsAbility to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short notice.Ability to work in confined spacesOther Qualifications :
Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record for insurance purposesVocational, training, or apprenticeship of an HVAC programAt this time, we are only looking for applicants with HVAC service experience.
