American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR Neuro experience and ARRT (CI, VI, or CV) certification for a day shift role using Philips and Siemens equipment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an imaging support services department focused on interventional radiology proceduresDepartment serves a lower volume of 2-5 patients per day, emphasizing neuro-interventional casesUtilize Philips and Siemens imaging equipment for proceduresEMR systems in use include MergePass and Cerner; prior experience is a plusWork schedule is 8 : 00am to 4 : 00pm, Monday through FridayNo on-call required at present, but may be needed in the futureTravelers may float to a nearby sister hospital as neededAssist radiologists in performing complex diagnostic invasive neuro-interventional proceduresPrepare and administer contrast media, IV solutions, and medications for imaging proceduresSet up and operate sterile equipment, monitors, and pressure injectors as requiredPerform all imaging procedures with strict adherence to radiation safety and ALARA protocolsParticipate in quality assurance procedures and utilize PACS / RIS for image and workflow managementMay assist in training new staff or students within the departmentTeam members are expected to display strong communication skills and maintain a positive, professional environmentMust complete all documentation accurately in both the medical record and radiology information systemScrub or dress code requirements are not specified\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years of recent interventional radiology experience including neuro-interventional casesActive ARRT registration with advanced registry in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV)Current AHA BLS certificationActive Michigan license required if applicableHigh school diploma or GED requiredOnline modules must be completed onsite with a passing score before the assignment startCOVID vaccine is mandatory\n Benefits\n
